Man Threatens Witness After Stealing Package: Buffalo Grove PD Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

THEFT

Zachary Tyler Finley, 30, of the 400 block of Diane Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of theft, assault, criminal trespass to real property, and was arrested at 3 p.m. Nov. 9, in the 300 block of Hawthorne Road. Finley reportedly stole a package in the 300 block of Hawthorne Road and threatened a witness. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 22.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Sarah A. Middendorf, 41, of the 700 block of Aspen Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, unsafe movement of a stopped vehicle, and was arrested at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 9, at McHenry Road and Checker Drive. She was released and was assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
• Petros K. Katmakis, 37, of the 10 block of Montauk Lane, Vernon Hills, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Nov. 9, in the 16500 block of W Half Day Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.
• Achuth R. Bavisetti, 27, of the 1400 block of Valley Lake Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding, and was arrested at 2:29 a.m. Nov. 11, in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
