Owner Says 2 Cars Got Screws In All Tires: Buffalo Grove P.D. Blotter
The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Johnson Drive last weekend.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Oskar Vahtra, 28, of the 14700 block of Estonian Lane, Riverwoods, is accused of driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, fleeing a peace officer, speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), and was arrested at 5:26 p.m. Sept. 22, in the 500 block of Bond Street. He was released and was assigned a court date of Oct. 11.

- Elizeth Yanez, 23, of the 2000 block of Berkshire Circle, Carpentersville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, illegal transportation of an open alcohol container, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 11:41 p.m. Sept. 30, following a crash investigation at Lake Cook and Weidner roads. A court date of Oct. 18 was assigned.
- Karen T. Peterson, 63, of the 300 block of N. Schiller Street, Palatine, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 3:50 p.m. Oct. 1, following a crash investigation in the 1900 block of N. Buffalo Grove Road. She was released from custody and was assigned a court date of Oct. 18.

INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
- Police met with an employee of Kilmer Park, 655 Golfview Terrace, at 12:43 p.m. Sept. 29, who reported damage to the park sign. According to police, the top left corner of the sign had been broken off. There were no pieces of the sign in the area and it was unknown when the damage occurred at the time of the report.
- Police responded to the 1200 block of Johnson Drive at 11:02 p.m. Oct. 1, for a criminal damage to property report. A complainant told police someone put screws in all four tires on both cars he owns.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Police responded to the 400 block of Anthony Road on Oct. 2 for a report of a residential burglary. The complainant told police that between 9 a.m. and 7:50 p.m., someone entered the home and stole various items.
