Pair Steal $600 In Tools At AutoZone: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
The two men fled the scene in a silver Volkswagen sedan with no license plate, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Jose M. Rodriguez Gallegos, 37, of the 1200 block of Pheasant Run, Zion, is accused of driving on a suspended license, having a child passenger under the age of eight without restraint, operating a vehicle with an expired registration, and was arrested at 3:37 p.m. April 18, at Buffalo Grove and Lake Cook roads. He was released and assigned a court date of May 17.
TRAFFIC VIOLATION

Rollo Dwight Brumfield, 50, of the 1500 block of E. Busch Parkway, Buffalo Grove had an active warrant out of DuPage County for a traffic violation, and was arrested at 9:08 p.m. April 21, at Extended Stay America, 1525 E. Busch Parkway. He was released and assigned a court date of June 7.
RECKLESS DRIVING
Richard Suarez Armas, 21, of the 1800 block of N. Green Lane, Palatine, is accused of reckless driving, speeding 35+mph over the speed limit (86 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested at 7 a.m. April 22, at Dundee and Arlington Heights roads. He was released and was assigned a court date of May 17.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
- Police responded to Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, at 11:57 a.m. April 17, for a retail theft report. An employee told police a person, who was in custody, had filled a grocery cart and walked out without paying. The total value is $316.18. The person was cited for retail theft and issued a trespass warning.
- Police responded to Autozone, 1206 W. Dundee Road, at 9:56 a.m. April 23, for a report of a retail theft. An employee told police two males had fled the store with between $600 and $700 in tools. They were driving a silver Volkswagen sedan with no license plates, and were last seen driving eastbound on Dundee Road.
THEFT
Police responded to Garden Fresh, 770 S. Buffalo Grove Road, at 10:02 a.m. April 19, for a theft of mislaid property. A customer told police that she had accidentally left her purse on a shelf in the store. When she went to pay for her merchandise, she realized it was missing. She contacted the store manager and reviewed store video, which showed a female take the purse and walk out of the store with it. The purse was later found lying on the sidewalk and was missing $250.
BURGLARY
A resident in the 0-10 block of Villa Verde Drive reported at 6:30 a.m. April 22, that someone had broken the passenger's side window.
