Panera Bread To Move From Buffalo Grove To Palatine

B UFFALO GROVE, IL — Buffalo Grove's Panera Bread will be making Palatine its new home. The restaurant will only be moving about 2 miles west on Dundee Road, but the address change will put the location in a new village, according to the Daily Herald.

Currently, Panera is in Buffalo Grove at 1228 W. Dundee Road near Buffalo Grove High School. The new location will be at Dundee and Rand roads by Mattress Firm and Verizon.

The exact date the restaurant is changing locations hasn't been set yet. The restaurant manager told the Herald the move is set for either this fall or early winter. (Get Patch real-time email alerts for the latest Palatine news. And iPhone users: Check out Patch's new app.)

This move has been in the offing for some time. Panera had considered going to the Dundee-Rand location as early as July 0f 2015.
