• $10M Ill. fire station puts firefighter health, safety at center of design (firerescue1.com) — Buffalo Grove has opened its new Fire Station 25 on Dundee Road, a $10.1 million facility designed to better protect both firefighters and residents. The station features cleaner air systems, improved sleep quarters, energy-efficient technology, expanded apparatus bays, and a larger workout room, all aimed at faster responses and long-term firefighter health.
