Person Trespassed Twice At Golf Course: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
The person had been trespassed earlier in the day for reportedly making an employee of the golf course uncomfortable.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

- Marion P. Ade, 61, of the 4200 block of Jennifer Lane, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving on a revoked license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 3:52 p.m. Aug. 29, at Deerfield Parkway and Weiland Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 23.
- Juan A. Serrano, 30, of the 400 block of Fernwood Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of driving on a suspended license, speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit (69 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested at 1:17 a.m. Aug. 30, at N. Buffalo Grove Road and W. Thompson Boulevard. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 13.

RETAIL THEFT

Police were called to Walgreens, 1225 W. Dundee Road, at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 28, for a retail theft report. Surveillance video showed the man — who was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, blue baseball hat and glasses — in the candy aisle. They picked up some candy or chocolate, and a box of garbage bags, and walked out of the store without paying. They fled the scene on foot.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY
Police responded to the Arboretum Clubhouse, 401 W. Half Day Road, at 3:33 p.m. Aug. 31, for a criminal trespass to property report. Earlier in the day, a person had made an employee of the golf course uncomfortable and was issued a trespass warning by Buffalo Grove police. Police found the person in a backyard, just off the property of the golf course. The golf course said the person had been seen walking on the fifth hole of the course after being given the trespass warning. The person told police they were aware they were not allowed on the course, and police gave a second trespass warning.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A resident of the 400 block of Raphael reported at 6:02 a.m. Sept. 1, someone had stolen their car parked in the driveway during the overnight hours. While responding to the call, police found the car up on a parkway on the southside of the street, facing eastbound. The car was running and unoccupied, but did not have headlamps on it. It had struck a light post.
