'Road Rage' Leads To Crash With Garbage Truck In Long Grove: Sheriff
Six vehicles were involved in the Wednesday morning crash, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

LONG GROVE, IL — A crash involving at least six vehicles may have been a result of an earlier road rage incident Wednesday morning in Long Grove. According to the Lake County Sheriff's Office, the multi-vehicle crash occurred at around 7 a.m. at Route 83 and Gilmer Road.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed a Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 48-year-old Grayslake man, and a black sedan were traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on Route 83. Witnesses saw both cars weaving in and out of traffic.
As the two drivers approached Gilmer Road, the driver of the Chevrolet abruptly changed lanes in front of the other car, and clipped the front of the sedan with the back of his car. This caused the Chevrolet to roll, according to police.
