Sex Offender Accused Of Harassing Witness in Buffalo Grove
The 55-year-old Buffalo Grove resident's bond was set at $250,000 on Aug. 13 in Lake County Court.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A registered sex offender is accused of harassing a witness (Class 2 felony), which resulted in a warrant for his arrest out of Lake County. David John Brown, 55, of the 900 block of Greenridge Road, Buffalo Grove, was arrested at 10:38 a.m. Aug. 13 at his home.
Brown has a prior arrest for attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault of a minor in 2005. He was 41 at the time and his victim was 17, according to the Illinois State Police Sex Offender Database.
For his Aug. 13 arrest, Brown's bond was set at $250,000 on Aug. 13 in Lake County Court in Waukegan.
