BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The walk-up window at Buffalo Grove Village Hall was reopened at noon Monday following a COVID-19 exposure that closed it last week. According to the Village, all necessary precautions were taken to ensure the safety of employees and the public, including sanitizing Village Hall.

Village Hall closed to the public last Friday. The decision to "protect the public" included the facility being commercially cleaned and disinfected, according to a press release from the Village.

All Village employees who may have been exposed within the building are being evaluated for testing and quarantine. Because the incubation period for COVID-19 onset ranges from two to 14 days, it was unclear at the time when Village Hall was going to be reopened.
