2 Shot In Unincorporated Willowbrook, Suspect In Custody

WILLOWBROOK, IL — Two people were shot inside a home in unincorporated Willowbrook Thursday morning and Du Page County sheriff's police already have a suspect in custody.

Police arrived at the home in the area of Route 83 and Mockingbird Lane around 10:30 a.m., according to the Du Page County Sheriff's Office. There they found two victims, who were both sent to local hospitals. Information on the victims' condition once they arrived was not immediately available.

A suspect is in custody according to police, who also say there is "no threat" to the local community. Schools located in the area were not affected by the shooting incident.

Investigators will still piecing together details late Thursday afternoon. Several people were at the sheriff's office being interviewed at the time.
