Adventist Hinsdale Hospital Welcomes First Baby of 2015
A girl, Madison Avery Knapczyk, was born to Jennifer Miravete and Joe Knapczyk of Willowbrook at 1:39 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 1.

Adventist Hinsdale Hospital welcomed the first baby of 2015 on New Year’s Day. A girl, Madison Avery Knapczyk, was born to Jennifer Miravete and Joe Knapczyk of Willowbrook at 1:39 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.
Madison weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long, and was delivered by Mara Arakelian, a nurse midwife from OMG Women’s Healthcare. The parents were surprised with a beautiful gift basket from the staff to celebrate the baby’s birth.

Miravete was originally due Jan. 7, but her doctor decided to induce her at 9 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. “We were expecting her to be born by 4 p.m., but it ended up taking 15 hours,” she said.
Madison will be welcomed home by older siblings Nathan, 14, Kali, 13, Ayden, 6, Devlyn, 5.
