'Armed' Man Steals Truck And Trailer In Burr Ridge; Suspect Still At Large: Police

BURR RIDGE, IL — A truck and trailer were stolen from a home in Burr Ridge Monday, according to police. An unidentified suspect stole the victim's 2002 Ford F-550 and on Kirkwood Cove at approximately 3:09 a.m., police said. The suspect reportedly said he was armed.

The victim told police he got in a car to follow the suspect and confronted him at the intersection of Archer and First Avenues. At that point, the suspect allegedly told the victim he was armed with a handgun. The suspect then exited the truck and fled on foot, according to police.

Burr Ridge Police are seeking the public's help in finding the suspect. The offender is described as a 6'2" tall Hispanic male with black hair and a black mustache. During the time of the vehicle theft, the suspect was reportedly wearing a blue Chicago Cubs shirt and blue jeans.
