Q: Hi Ross - I really want to snap out of this cold winter rut and start thinking about spring break and beyond. I have a summer wedding to attend and I’m wondering what’s going to be trending for parties? Hope you can help lift me out of these winter time blues!
A: I don’t blame you! Everyone is ready for something fresh and new, and from what I’ve seen on the runways and trending is that a change is on the way! Look for low ponytails that are slick, shiny and glittery. If you are in the mood for a new cut or style, choppy page boys are a huge hit, especially if you have the hair type that lends itself to very short bangs. Something new and fun - zig zag parts, and for color, I’m loving what I call “graham cracker” which is truly a golden graham brown. If you’re blonde, the look is soft and very natural, nothing brassy or harsh. And, for a wedding or special occasion the trend is for old world up-dos with floral accents, very feminine - think Jessica McClintock, but updated and chic. I think everyone is ready for Spring, I know I am. Come in and see us!
