Bolingbrook Man, 21, Killed in I-55 Crash
The crash happened early Friday on southbound I-55 south of Route 83. Authorities continue to investigate.
A 21-year-old Bolingbrook man was killed early Friday in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 55.
Francisco Vieyra Jr., 21, was driving a 2006 Volkswagen south on I-55 south of Route 83 at 12:29 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his vehicle, crashed into the guardrail and drove off the roadway into the ditch, according to a news release from Illinois State Police.
The Illinois State Police is investigating the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
