Burr Ridge Woman Confronts Driver Parked Near Home: Police
Dispute happened in an apparently quiet circle of top-dollar homes.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Pinecrest Court is a circle of four large houses on a narrow brick street. At least one of the houses is valued at well more than $1 million, according to the Zillow real estate website.
It's not a thoroughfare, so residents may not see drivers sitting in parked cars often. In the early evening of Oct. 17, a resident on Pinecrest told police she saw a woman in a Toyota parked near her mailbox. The resident said she approached the car and asked the woman why she was parked there.
The woman would not roll down the window or respond. Then a man in an SUV pulled up and yelled at the resident, "Who do you think you are? It's a public street," according to a police report. Both drivers then left.

An officer later spoke with the woman driver, who said she was delivering for Uber Eats and pulled over to look at her phone, police said. She would not give any information on the other driver, police said. An officer told the woman to let her friend know about the dangers of yelling at strangers.
