Burr Ridge 2017 Halloween Sex Offender Registry Safety Map

BURR RIDGE, IL — Halloween and trick-or-treating are right around the corner, so it's a good time to take an inventory of who lives in your neighborhood.

There are three registered sex offenders living in Burr Ridge. Each pin on the map represents the address of a sex offender. Click a pin to see the offender's name, date of birth, and sex crime convictions.

According to the Illinois Sex Offender Registry, those convicted of sex crimes are not permitted to wear Halloween costumes in public or pass out candy on Halloween. They are also prohibited from wearing any "child-centered holiday costume" during other times of the year, including Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

Parents may opt to avoid these addresses when taking their children trick-or-treating or may choose to use this map to be aware of those offenders who live nearby.
