Burr Ridge Man Died Of Drug Overdose In Downers Grove: Cops

BURR RIDGE, IL — A Burr Ridge man has been found dead in a Downers Grove Starbucks, according to the DuPage County Coroner's Office. The man has been identified as 19-year-old Kevin Ryan of Burr Ridge.

Patch reported Friday when Ryan was found unconscious in a bathroom of Starbucks, 76 Ogden Ave. Police arrived on the scene around 10 a.m. and were unable to revive Ryan.

Ryan's death is currently being investigated as a drug overdose, according to Downers Grove Police Department spokesperson Bill Budds.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office, along with the Downers Grove Police Department and DuPage County State's Attorney's Office, are investigating the death.
