Clothing Worth Thousands Stolen In Valentine's Day Heist

Two women fled the Victoria's Secret store in Burr Ridge with $4,500 worth of Pink brand clothing.

BURR RIDGE, IL - Expensive clothing from the Victoria's Secret store in Burr Ridge was stolen on the Valentine's Day holiday this year. Police in the suburb responded to a retail theft call at the women's clothing giant's chain at 540 Village Center Drive at 11 a.m. on Feb. 14.

A store manager told the officer who responded that two women stole about $4,500 worth of Pink brand clothing. Information on whether they fled the area on foot or via a car was not included in a police bulletin sent to members of the media on Friday.

The only description provided of the women is that they are black and believed to be between 20 and 30 years old.
