Deer Breaks Through Window Of Burr Ridge Home
A full-grown deer died Friday night after she was spotted in the basement of a home on Burr Oak Lane.

BURR RIDGE, IL - A deer made its way into a Burr Ridge home last week and died shortly after. Ihor Semenyuk, a caregiver for a family in the 11500 block of Burr Oak Lane, described the "upsetting" ordeal that took place Friday with The Doings publication of the Chicago Tribune.
Semenyuk said he heard noises Friday night and assumed they were coming from raccoons who are often on the roof. But when checking downstairs, he saw that a full-grown deer had broken through a basement window.
Police and animal control were called. When animal control arrived, they found the deer had died and needed police to help pull her back through the window.
