Employee Gets Suspended, Throws Fruit, Gets Banned For Life: Burr Ridge Police

Burr Ridge Police say the employee came in to quit Saturday after being suspended Friday, but wound up getting banned from Dao Restaurant.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge Police responded to a report of a disturbance Saturday after a restaurant employee threw fruit on the ground and swore loudly in response to being suspended from work. The altercation took place at Dao Sushi & Thai Restaurant at 200 Burr Ridge Parkway.

Burr Ridge Police were called to the restaurant at approximately 5:20 p.m. to investigate the disturbance. According to police, the man had been suspended Friday and had come to Dao on Saturday to quit his job. The ex-employee was banned from setting foot inside a Dao Sushi & Thai restaurant and police informed the man that he would be charged with trespassing if he went to a Dao Restaurant in the future.
