Hinsdale Historical Society to Hold Holiday Open House

The Hinsdale Historical Society will usher in the Holidays on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with a Holiday Open House at the Hinsdale History Museum. The event will be held from 1-4 p.m.

The Hinsdale History Museum, an 1874 Victorian period Home will be festively decorated in the Victorian manner for the Holiday Season. Guests will be able to tour the beautifully restored interior. At 1:30 and 3:00 p.m., members from the Hinsdale Chorale will perform a selection of Holiday carols in the lower level program room for the enjoyment of all.

The Open House represents the grand re-opening of the Hinsdale History Museum and the re-establishment of regular touring hours. After the Open House celebration, the museum will be open to the public for viewing on a drop-in basis on Friday and Saturday afternoons from Noon-4p.m. and for groups by advanced appointment.

The general public is cordially invited to attend the Open House activities and help us celebrate the Holiday Season! Light refreshments will be served.
