IL House Committees Hold Sterigenics Hearing
The hearing will be held on Friday, Oct. 26 in Chicago.

WILLOWBROOK, IL — The Illinois House of Representatives Environment and Energy commitees will hold a hearing on Sterigenics on Friday, Oct. 26. The first hearing which was going to be held earlier this month, was canceled last minute.
The hearing will take place at 10 a.m. at the Michael A. Bilandic building, 160 N. LaSalle C-600, sixth floor, in Chicago. According The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public input on the Sterigenics facility in Willowbrook.
According to the Illinois General Assembly website, there are 1,471 opponent witness slips. These witnesses are against Sterigenics. There are also seven proponent witness slips that are in support of Sterigenics.
