Make Your Own Wine at The Village Cellar in Hinsdale

On Wednesday, September 18 at 7:00pm,The Village Cellar will be hosting Be A Winemaker! Make
24-28 bottles of your very own wine at TVC with the help and guidance
of winemaking professionals from Chicago's BevArt Winemaker and Brewer
Supply.

Here are the details:
The cost is $99
for 1 or 2 people making the same 6 gallon vat of wine, plus the cost
of ingredients for the type of wine you want to make. 

Why make your own wine?
Try something new and enjoy learning the basics of winemaking. The wine you make would also make perfect holiday gifts! 

What kind of wines can you make?  Choose any of the following:

Whites
Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay: $179.99 
Mezza Luna White: $83.99 
Italian Pinot Grigio: $134.95  
German Riesling: $69.99

Reds
Lodi Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon: $184.99  
Chilean Malbec: $89.99  
Sonoma Pinot Noir: $184.99  
Australian Shiraz: $87.99

The $99 class fee includes 2 sessions. 

Session 1: September 18, 2013 - 7pm
Location: The Village Cellar
* Learn basics of quality fine wine making from grape to bottle.
* Learn about winemaking approaches and techniques.
* Hands on winemaking vinting a 6 gallon vat (makes 24-28 bottles).
* Taste and appreciate wines while learning.

Session 2: November 13, 2013 - 7pm
Location: The Village Cellar
* Balance and stabilize your wine.
* Adjust tannin and residual sugar levels.
* Bottle and label your wine! (Bring your own bottles or purchase from Bevart-not included in class fee)
* Wine labeling (additional cost)
