OIL & MIXED MEDIA PAINTING CLASS at Painted Rubbish

ANOTHER PAINTED RUBBISH, CORKS & BRUSHES CLASS W/PAM PETERSON

Whether you are an experienced artist or have never picked up an artist’s brush, this class will tap into your creative side as you learn art techniques that are unique and intuitive. 

Using traditional and non-traditional materials, multiple layers will be applied with various tools. Scraping, scratching, reapplying color and adding papers will be included in your work.  

In addition, you will have the opportunity to begin your pieces using various plasters, creating amazing textural beginnings. By the last class, completely original works of art will be yours to display. Please bring latex or vinyl gloves and an apron.  

Cost for all class materials is included (oil paints, cold wax medium, heavy paper, plaster and use of all application tools, products, and instructional handouts).

When:       Thursday mornings, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13 & 2/20 (2014)

                 9:30 AM- 12:00 PM (2 1/2 hrs.)

                $185 per person paid in advance 

                (4 student minimum – class may be cancelled if minimum is not met by noon on Monday, January 13, 2014)
