One of the robbery suspects later captured elsewhere, police say.
BURR RIDGE, IL — Three suspects pistol-whipped a person in the head shortly before 8 p.m. Jan. 29 on Honeysuckle Rose Lane, a Burr Ridge police report says. The crime is labeled an armed robbery. The crime scene was taken over by DuPage County sheriff's deputies. The incident occurred in the general area of a number of businesses just outside of Burr Ridge village limits.
In an interview Friday, sheriff's spokesman Justin Kmitch said all of those involved are juveniles and none of them, including the victim, are cooperating with law enforcement. The parents are also not helping police, he said.
"They had agreed to meet at this location for an unknown transaction," Kmitch said.
