Porsche Stolen From Garage In Burr Ridge: Police

BURR RIDGE, IL — A 2014 Porsche was reported stolen from a home on Tomlin Circle Friday. The incident was reported at approximately 8:23 a.m., according to a police summary.

The victim told police that the Porsche was parked inside his garage during the time of the theft. Police say the thieves entered an unlocked car that was parked in the home's driveway. Once inside the car, they located the home's garage door opener and were able to gain entry to the garage. The suspect(s) then removed the victim's blue 2014 Porsche. According to Deputy Chief Marc Loftus, the keys to the Porsche had either been left inside the car or inside the Maserati parked next to it.

According to police, the suspects are still at large. Shortly before the Porsche was stolen, a black Audi was reportedly stolen in Glencoe, Loftus said. Surveillance footage shows the black Audi entering the subdivision at around 5 a.m. and then leaving with the Porsche shortly after.
