Register Your Child for QuickStart, Junior Development Tennis at Five Seasons Burr Ridge

For those whose children are looking to play tennis, whether as an introduction or on a more advanced level, Five Seasons Family Sports Club in Burr Ridge has something for everyone this spring as well as summer.

The club at 6901 S. Madison is operating QuickStart and Junior Development Mini-Session classes that begin on May 5th and conclude on June 5th. Most of the sessions during the week are from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with some from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

In addition, nearly all sessions include a Saturday schedule at various times in the day.

The program offers group instruction led by certified teaching professionals with a junior tennis pro assisting.  Most of the sessions are held on the air-conditioned indoor courts.

Players are divided by age and skill level, with age groups composed of 6- to 10-year-olds, 8- to 10-year-olds and 11- and 12-year-olds. There is also a program for 3- and 4-year-olds.

In addition to the spring sessions, Five Seasons is operating Summer Camp tennis programs from June 9th to August 15th.  Most age and skill-level brackets are held in the afternoon from Monday through Thursday.

Registration is open to non-club members. Children are assigned to courts based upon age, level and recreational or competition focus. Accordingly, the camp uses 36-foot and 60-foot courts, as well as red-, orange- and green-dot balls.

Junior players have the option of registering by the day or by the week, with discounts available for those who register for longer periods of time.

For registration and other details, please contact Matthew McClure, Five Seasons’ Junior Tennis Director, at 630-570-5200 or mmcclure@5ssc.com.
