Retiring District 181 Staff Honored At Board Meeting

Among the retirees are six teachers who have been in the district for at least 25 years and a communications director who has served the district for the last 10.

On Tuesday night the Community Consolidated School  Board of Education honored 14 staff members who are retiring in June. The group includes 13 teachers and one administrator.

To recognize each individual’s years of service and contributions, the board read a resolution into the record. Each also received a gift from the district.

Retirees’ family members and school staff were invited to a reception that preceded the reading of the resolutions.
