Standard Market Westmont Hosts Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 4

It’s a battle of the beers at Standard Market Westmont’s Oktoberfest from 2-5 p.m., Saturday, October 4! To celebrate the German festival, Standard Market will showcase classic German food (including a build-your-own pretzel necklace station), American and German specialty Oktoberfest beers, a live German-style oompah band and beer swag giveaways.

Oktoberfest beers on tap will include:

· Leipziger Göse

· Capital Oktoberfest

· Einbecker Mai-Ür-Bock

To pair with the beer, Standard Market will offer “The Best Wurst,” a grilled Marketmade bratwurst on toasted bun served with German potato salad and bacon sauerkraut. All non-Oktoberfest beers are $1 off and the classic German bitter Underberg will also be available.
