Three Stolen Cars With Lights Out Speed Down I-55, Evade Burr Ridge Cops
The cars, which were all reported stolen, turned off their headlights and sped down I-55 to avoid police cars that were in pursuit.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge Police led a chase on I-55 Saturday to pursue a car that had been reported stolen. During the pursuit, the suspect's vehicle was in a convoy with two other vehicles with their headlights out. Those vehicles were also found to be stolen.
The chase occurred at approximately 3:42 a.m. after a Burr Ridge Police officer attempted to pull over a gray 2016 Ford Explorer on I-55 that had been flagged as stolen. The driver of the stolen car did not pull over and continued to flee northbound on I-55 at a speed more than 21 mph over the speed limit with his headlights out. When the officer attempted to pull over the Ford, a gray SUV that the Ford had been trailing accelerated and fled down the shoulder of the road with its headlights off.
Burr Ridge police said a 2014 white Dodge Durango with no lights on had been following the Ford. The Durango showed up as stolen from Hinsdale when police ran its place All three vehicles fled northbound on I-55 after the attempted stop.
