Tires Dumped On L.A. Fasteners Property

A manager of the Burr Ridge business on Frontage Road said someone dumped 10-15 tires on the property over the weekend.

BURR RIDGE, IL - A bunch of tires were dumped on the property of a fastener supply company in Burr Ridge over the weekend. The illegal dumping incident at L.A. Fasteners was reported Monday morning by a general manager of the company and was said to have happened sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The manager told police that 10-15 tired were dumped on the property at 15W650 Frontage Road. Surveillance footage at the private property did not capture the dumping, however.

Police were asked to keep "an extra watch" on the business for dumping and "anyone cutting down blue spruce trees," according to a police report. The illegal cutting down of trees has been an issue for the business during the holiday season.
