A summer kids' event, Weird Animals Vacation Bible School, will be hosted at the Hinsdale Seventh-day Adventist Church from June 16 to 30. For kids ages 4 to 11, the event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 daily.
At Weird Animals, kids will about some of God's most creative creations. They'll participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience cook Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them they are one of a kind, and test out Science-Fun Gizmos they'll take home. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around the4m through something called God Sightings.
Each day concludes with The Tail End -- a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they've learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join daily for this special time at 8 p.m. For more information and to register, call 630-323-0182.
