You Can Brew It at the Indian Prairie Public Library

Learn the basics of brewing your own beer from award-winning home brewer Scott Pointon at the Indian Prairie Public Library on Monday, June 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Pointon will cover the history of home brewing, the styles of beer that can be brewed at home, equipment needs, ingredients, the basic steps of the brewing process, and advice and tips.

The program is free and will take place in the Meeting Room on the second floor of the library, 401 Plainfield Rd. in Darien. Participants can register online at www.calendar.ippl.info, by phone at (630) 887-8760 x239, or in-person at the library’s Ask Us Desk.
