DOC Deputies Hurt In Crash Near Minooka: Report
The crash occurred north of Minooka in Kendall County, according to WSPY.

MINOOKA, IL - Seven deputies who are employed with the Illinois Department of Corrections were taken to the hospital on Thursday morning following a crash north of Minooka at Route 52 and Ridge Road in Kendall County, according to WSPY News. The news outlet reported that a 19-year-old woman from Joliet, Maya Smith, blew through the stop sign and rear-ended a state DOC van with seven deputies around 7:40 a.m.
According to WSPY, no prisoners were inside the van at the time of the collision. The deputies were taken by ambulances to Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. The severity of their injuries was not immediately known. The news outlet in Kendall County reported that the Joliet teenager was given a traffic citation for failing to stop and for failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash; she was not injured.
