Kendall County noted that all five vehicles were traveling south on Ridge Road when one of the drivers slowed down to make a left-hand turn on to Bell Road; that resulted in the chain-reaction rear-end crash.

Minooka Fire, Troy Fire and Channahon Fire all responded with fire engines and ambulance crews, transporting three people to the hospital with injuries.
