At 8:19 p.m., Channahon Police officers were dispatched to the 22600 block of South Donna Avenue for a domestic battery in progress. At the scene, officers spoke to all the witnesses and involved people involved in the incident.

"An on- scene investigation determined that Nicole Petropulos had struck a family member with a chair and interfered with the 911 emergency call made to report the incident," Brooks announced in the arrest summary.

He said that Petropulos was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery and one count of interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. Petropulos was transported and transferred to the custody of the Will County Adult
Detention Facility.

Last week, Joliet Patch reported that the Channahon Police Department has arrested Brian Stachelski, a 42-year-old local man, on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm in the man's neighborhood off McClintock Road. At 11:28 p.m., Channahon police officers were dispatched to the area of West Essex Drive and South Kent Road for multiple reports of a man screaming and gunshots.

Multiple witnesses told police they heard several gunshots fired in rapid succession.

Then on Sept. 16, Patch broke the news of Davisson's arrest and jail detention in a story headlined "Toilet Papering Trouble For Teens As Channahon Man Attacks Youth With Pipe In Public Right Of Way: Complaint."

Davisson was arrested on charges of aggravated battery and he is accused of viciously and violently attacking an underage youth who was tossing toilet paper in his subdivision.
