Bomb Threat Made On Chicago-Bound Charter Bus
State Police are investigating a person accused of threatening to "blow up the bus" as it was on Interstate 80 in Minooka Wednesday night.

MINOOKA, IL - Someone riding a charter bus that was on Interstate 80 Wednesday night made a bomb threat while threatening to "blow up the bus," Illinois State Police said. No weapons or explosive devices were found on the bus when it was stopped by state and local authorities on the ramp at the Ridge Road exit in Minooka.
The subject in the bomb threat was on board the Chicago-bound bus as it was eastbound on I-80 around 9:30 p.m. when the threat was allegedly made, police said. The person was taken into protective custody and taken to an area hospital for an evaluation.
After the search of the bus was made and the person was taken from the scene, the bus continued on its destination to Chicago.

Police are not releasing the identity, age or gender of the person accused of making the threat.
