Both Cars In Minooka Crash Were Uninsured

The drivers involved in a Thursday afternoon crash at Ridge and Holt roads in Minooka were injured while driving uninsured vehicles.

MINOOKA, IL - The two drivers involved in a crash Thursday afternoon in Minooka have both been cited. Neither car was insured, according to authorities.

Ronald Stewart, 77, of Channahon and Michael Platt, 39, of Montgomery were driving near Ridge and Holt Roads when their cars collided just after 2:30 p.m., according to a report from the Herald-News.

Both drivers were injured and transported to area hospitals, then cited by Kendall County Sheriff's police. Steward for failing to yield while turning left and driving an uninsured vehicle and Platt for driving and uninsured vehicle.
