It's summer time and that means wedding season is in full swing.  Ladies said yes to the marriage proposal, the special men in their lives "put a ring on it" and now are counting down to the wedding they've planned to perfection.  However, what happens when you've planned your wedding down to the second and there is no one there to implement your vision?  Chaos.  Check out what happens when a bride and groom dance together as husband and wife for the first time in front of their guests.  Think they could've used professional help?  Of course. The benefits of hiring a professional wedding or event planner are numerous.  First, you automatically have someone in your corner to be your advocate even through all of the awkward situations.  I explain to my clients that my main goal is to create and manage a seamless event; they definitely see the benefit in the long run.  Planners also save you time and money.  We are often great negotiators and come prepared with vendors who have very professional reputations. Ultimately, this is a special time that you want to remember as fun, exciting and one of the highlights of your life.  Why not have someone there, who understands that and will make sure it happens?
