The Crazy Life of Maddy Holloway

Hi, my name is Madeline Holloway. I am 10 and in 5th grade. Every day after school I have cross country. My last race was in Troy and I got 73 in the race. I love running. 

My friends and I do Girl Scouts. We think it is fun because we get to lead the badge. There are only four of us in scouts this year.  

My hobbies are karate and baking.  In karate I’m a brown belt.  We learn how to protect ourself.  I’m working on my test for the 1st stripe.

Baking is my life! I love to make make cookies,cake,and more. Mom and I made my birthday cake together. It was a shape of a sand castle and was on a island. I called it FORT MADDY. 

When I get older I will have a bakery in Channahon. I will be making cookies, cakes, pies, tarts, Fudge Balls and Wedding Cakes. I love to use: fondant, modeling chocolate and buttercream frosting. 

One day I will come up with a cupcake flavor and that will be Marshmallow Chocolate Fudge Cupcake. My sister is going to space I will make her space cupcakes. My mom will work and my aunt and my grandma and my sister when she can.
