Channahon Man Allegedly Struck Person in Head with Bottle

The 22-year-old man was charged with three counts of aggravated battery.

A Channahon man has been charged with aggravated battery after he allegedly struck someone in the head with a bottle, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Colton Martin, 22, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery, a class 3 felony, after an incident that happened July 27.

Police had taken a report of the incident that occurred on the 15000 block of O’Brien Road. After an investigation, Martin was charged with the crime.

A judge set Martin’s bail at $10,000 with ten percent to apply. Martin was taken into custody Nov. 2 by the Channahon Police Dept. He posted bond and now awaits his next court appearance.
