Channahon Man Charged In Church Burglary: Complaint

The criminal complaint was filed last week at the Will County Courthouse. Here's the details.

CHANNAHON, IL -A 21-year-old Channahon resident has been charged with two counts of burglary in connection with allegations that he targeted a local house of worship. A criminal complaint at the Will County Courthouse alleges that Jeremy Carr "knowingly entered a building of Families of Faith Church, located at 24466 West Eames, Channahon ... with the intent to commit .. a theft."

The complaint states that the burglary happened on May 18 and again on June 1.

Carr was captured by Channahon Police and delivered to the Will County Jail during the early morning hours of June 2, jail logs show.

His address is listed as being on McClintock Road in Channahon.

Last week, Carr spent four days in the Will County Jail before coming up with 10 percent of his $5,000 bail set by a Will County judge, jail records show.
