Dr. Allison Powers of the Premier Equine Veterinary Service will present this three-part series.

The Feb. 11 presentation, "Colic and Founder," will discuss the causes, symptoms and treatment of the diseases.

The March 3 program, "Lameness," will discuss the latest advancements in the treatment and prevention of joint issues in horses.

The April 14 program will take place at the Northern Tradition. It will discuss how to keep horses happy and healthy on a yearly basis.

The event will cost $50 for all three sessions; $20 for each session paid in advance; and $25 per session at the door.
