The Joliet Junior College Chamber singers and the JJC Chorale will perform together in a concert presented by the JJC Fine Arts Department.
The concert, "Rule Britannia!” will be conducted by Philip Spencer, JJC professor of music. Music performed is from the British Isles and former colonies including the Mass of the Children by English composer John Rutter. Favorite children's prayers and hymns will be performed among the traditional texts of a mass.
The choirs will be accompanied by a 10-piece chamber ensemble, several student soloists, and a Girls Ensemble from Crone Middle School in Naperville.

The concert will also includemusic from England, Scotland, Canada, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Tanzania, Kenya, and the United States. The concert will also be presented Sunday, May 1, 7:30 p.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1313 North Mill Street in Naperville.
