Road to Reality Program Shows Dangers of Drinking and Driving

The Channahon Police Department and Minooka Community High School present the 2011 Road to Reality program.

Different scenes will show the physical, emotional and legal consequences of underage use of alcohol and drugs. The consequences of those choices will be explored.

Information booths from local law enforcement agencies and community outreach programs also will be present. The Plainfield Police Department's K9 unit will do demonstrations; AAA will provide a texting and driving simulator, and the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists will provide a demonstration using "drunk" goggles.
