Instructed by the National Weather Service, this two-hour, basic-level course will teach attendees how to recognize and identify severe storms capable of producing damaging winds, tornadoes, heavy rain and hail.
Other topics will include procedures for reporting severe weather to appropriate agencies so warnings can be issued to the public.
Public safety personnel and personnel from public and private facilities are encouraged to attend.
