Chamber’s Wine & Beer Tasting – a Great Sunday Event with Friends Hanging out with friends on a Sunday afternoon with a glass of wine is a good time. When it’s part of the Chamber’s Wine & Beer Tasting benefiting the Chamber Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, it’s fun for a good cause. The Chamber's Annual Wine & Beer Tasting will be Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 3 – 6 pm at Chapin's East Banquets in Minooka.
With a variety of distributors showcasing their products, perhaps the biggest problem was choosing which wine or ale to sample. Included again this year will be spirits. The event is suitable for both the novice and expert - specifically designed to a have a casual feel - catering less to formality, and more to the good life enthusiast. Experts from various distributors offered samplings; provide facts about the products as well as suggest how to best serve and pair with food. Attendees will be able to sample some of the pairing possibilities at the event thanks to Chapin’s Restaurant, Chili’s, Lindt Chocolates and more who provides a variety of appetizers.
