Families Displaced After Apartment Fire In Channahon

CHANNAHON, IL - A fire at an apartment complex on Blackberry Lane in Channahon has displaced multiple families and sent three people to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Firefighters took about 45 minutes to put out the blaze at a building in the 25400 block of Blackberry, according to a report from WJOL.

All residents were able to self-evacuate before fire crews arrived at 3:11 a.m. Initial reports indicate the fire started in a bedroom on the second floor.
