'He Is The Most Revengeful Person I Have Ever Known'

JOLIET, IL - Joshua Dvorak has been locked away from society since Monday, March 25 at the Will County Jail. He's charged with aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery. The 39-year-old Lorenzo Road resident has a $100,000 bail. The criminal complaint against the Wilmington area man indicates Dvorak strangled his girlfriend and he struck her about the body.

The order of protection now bars Dvorak from contacting the victim.

Back on March 14, "Joshua and I had an argument and I left. He talked me into coming back," the order of protection petition reads. "He beat me so bad I was bleeding all over and then he threw my purse out the window. He was calling me a liar, he was threatening to kill me."

The Will County court documents go on to state that a neighbor later called 911 and an ambulance "came and took me to the hospital. I suffered a broken nose, broken ribs, black eyes, strangulation marks."

In the event Dvorak comes up with $10,000 cash to post as bond, a Will County judge has now forbidden him from visiting a residence in Braidwood on South Center Street, court documents show.

"I am afraid Joshua is going to hurt my mom and my son because he (knows) that would hurt me," the order of protection reads. "I am afraid that Joshua is going to kill me now that he has been arrested. I (can't) sleep. I can't even rest. He is the most revengeful person I have ever known … I am so afraid when Joshua gets out of jail what he is going to do."

The court records further indicate that "He would break my phone whenever he saw me talk to someone especially my mom … He is manipulative and uses people as pawns, he is a narcissist."
