Little Boy Missing At Channahon State Park Found Safe
The Channahon Police Department issued a press release late Thursday afternoon reporting the good news.

CHANNAHON, IL - The Channahon Police Department announced that a 7-year-old boy who had wandered away from his grandmother at the Channahon State Park on Thursday afternoon was found safe. Authorities were called around 2:20 p.m.
The child was given medical care by the Channahon Fire Protection District and the boy has been reunited with his grandmother, police said.
"Several local police and fire agencies quickly responded to the call, locating the child within 45 minutes of being reported missing," stated Deputy Chief of Police Adam Bogart. "The child was not injured and was in good spirits when located."
